Guillermo Garcia

Hispanic Ministry Coordinator

Guillermo became the Hispanic Ministry Coordinator on March 1, 2023 after serving as full-time missionary at Central Baptist Church in Barquisimeto, Venezuela, since 2015. He became a Christian at the age of 21 and became one of the founding members at Central Baptist Church. For more than 25 years, Guillermo served God in different ministry capacities at the church in Barquisimeto. He was the part-time Youth Leader there beginning in 1998, and then the Lord and the church called him as the full-time Youth Pastor in 2011. In 2015, he started his work as a full-time missionary for the church. Guillermo and his wife, Carolina, were married in December of 2013. Together they served the Lord together at the church in Barquisimeto. Their daughter, Isabella, was born in May of 2016.

In October of 2021, the Lord gave them the opportunity to come to the United States to serve here at FBC Durant. After more than a year of working through the immigration process, Guillermo and his family have come to accept the Lord’s call to serve here and work with the Hispanic community, moved by the great need for many people to know the Lord as their Savior. He loves to serve others and to show how great life is with Jesus. He likes to sing, worship the Lord, and spend time with family and friends.
