First Baptist Church Durant

We exist to glorify God as we make disciples of all nations.

We want to provide you with updates as we continue to closely monitor the Coronavirus (COVID-19) as it impacts our local communities. (Latest Update: April 30, 5:30 p.m. CST)

Dear Church Family,

We have completed FBC-D Phase 1 of our reopening plan. I remind you that the church itself has never closed. We’ve been ministering to our community and proclaiming the peace and security that only Jesus can give to the best of our ability. It’s the church facility that we seek to reopen.
We are currently in FBC-D Phase 2. The biggest change in Phase 2 is that the ministerial and support staff will be transitioning back into the building for a full work week with proper precautions in place. We will continue to operate with the outside doors locked to limit the traffic in the building but will be available through our remote doorbell on the front office entrance.
We now have our eyes on FBC-D Phase 3 (May 31 – June 13).
