Music is an important component of worshiping God. First
Baptist is lead by our Music
Minister, Ken Bartholomew. Along with many others, Ken
uses his God-given talents and love of music to bring us
into the heart of worship every week. Our worship services offer a variety of musical
styles including everything from traditional hymns and modern
praise and worship.

Our 10:45 am morning worship service on Sunday features a large
adult choir, known as the Celebration Choir. Directed by
our Music Minister,
Ken Bartholomew, the choir leads the congregation in blended
worship and hymns praising our Lord. With heart-stirring
passion, the choir presents the special music on a regular
basis. They practice every week and work hard to give God
their best each and every Sunday. In addition, the Celebration
Choir prepares special musicals at various
times during the year; including participating with other
churches of like faith in the Living Christmas Tree, a
community-wide Holiday event hosted by our church.
The Celebration Choir practices every Wednesday night at 6:00 PM. Join us this week!

God has blessed us with a rich tradition in ministry through music. Directed by
our Music Minister,
Ken Bartholomew, the Senior Adult Jubilation Choir uses their talents to praise God with traditional
worship and song. They sing with their hearts from a life spent serving the Lord.
The Senior Adult Jubilation Choir practices every Wednesday morning at 10:00 AM. Join us this week!

Praise Team Rehearsal is Tuesday evenings @ 7:00 pm in the auditorium. The praise team is made up of vocalist and instrumentalist. If you play guitar, bass or drums as well as any other instrument feel free to contact Ken about being a part of our praise team ministry.

Handbell Choir rehearsal is Sunday @ 5:00 pm in the choir room. Handbells are used in special services as well as to enhance worship. This group requires faithful attendance and the ability to read music.
